United Decorators has been family owned and operated for over thirty years. When you call our showroom, you will speak to either Paul or Dalia, his wife. After thirty years of providing quality products and service, United Decorators is proud to introduce the second generation to the family business. Chantel, their daughter and Azi, their son. Chantel is an interior decorator and has been beautifying homes from Brooklyn, to Manhattan, and including Long Island. Azi, is involved in every aspect of the business, hands on. From how draperies are created to installing the most detailed window treatments.
If there's ever a problem, I'll know about it. And I'll take of it. I want you to come back, and I want your friends to come back. I take care of my customers. It's the only way I know how to run a business.
We've been in the reupholstery business for 31 years. That's a lot of sofas, trust me. What kind of person decides to reupholster for a living? Well, to start, it is someone who loves fabric. Someone who loves furniture and believes there truly is something magical in transforming what is old into what is beautiful; what is old-fashioned into what is classic; what is trendy to what is timeless. I learned this business the only way a man can; working under my father - one of the best reupholsterers in his day. They say everyone has to be good at something. And me, well, I do reupholstery.
It's easy to find a reupholsterer. It is difficult to find good advice, good workers, and people with good taste who happen to reupholster furniture.
We are one of the few Gallery Dealers that offer a free shop at home service, an important factor when you are deciding whether your furniture is worth the investment of upholstery, or the proper window treatments for your home. We can’t give you the best advice if we don’t know what your home looks like.
